8 Slides  -  Unknown story of children               (vendor's location 14.63)

This is a collection of magic lantern slides (3.25"x3.25")numbered 1-8. I  do not know whether this is a full set or not since I cannot identify the story - it seems to involve a death bed scene, a kidnapping and a rescue. No 8 has crack across bottom corner and No 2 half inch crack at bottom  but both  project OK, there is some crazing of image on one slide and  marginal loss of colour occasionally, but  on the whole a good collectable set
